American Express has sent out an email informing their members that the Lounge On The Go concept will also available at Rotterdam-The Hague Airport and Brussels Airport from January 2026. The concept is a success since many members do not have time to access the lounge. American Express mentions in the email that Gold and Platinum members can pick up a lounge box 2 times per month with a maximum of 6 times per quarter.

About American Express Lounge On The Go

American Express introduced the Lounge On The Go concept back in 2022. Since then, Platinum and Gold members can pick up a lounge box before their flight by presenting their American Express Gold or Platinum Card. The concept is for the member and one companion. In the beginning, there was no limit on how many times you could pick up a lounge box. However, since a few years you can only pick up a box 2 times per month with a maximum of 6 times per quarter.

American Express says they constantly want to improve the benefits of their members. Many cardholders from The Netherlands are leaving from airports other than Schiphol. The introduction of Lounge On The Go at Rotterdam-The Hague Airport and Brussels Airport is a good thing. Let’s hope Eindhoven Airport will follow soon!
